During nearly fifty years as a biology professor, photography was one of many tools I used to investigate how insects feed, and the behaviour they exhibit associated with feeding. Now that I am retired, I am also exploring more subjective aspects of photography. Insects still provide wonderful subjects, but so do other organisms and the world they inhabit. My hope is to produce images that convey the fascination, the wonder and sometimes the mystery and surprise of our environment. Thank you for visiting this site and I hope you enjoy my photos.
